Pastor Matt Barclay

Pastor Matt Barclay became the Pastor of The Journey Church at Lake Wylie in September 2025. He and his wife Kristin, along with their two children, are excited to be part of what God is doing in our community.

Ben and Sharon Rawls

Ben and Sharon Rawls have been married for 61 years. Ben has been Chairman and CEO of several publicly owned corporations and is treasurer and on the board of Relevant Church as well as on the board for The Journey Church and Pine Grove Christian Academy.

Steve And Cheryl House

Steve & Cheryl House – married 52 years. Steve is currently the Administrator for The Journey Church. Previously he was national advertising director for a large bank in Ohio and chief customer officer for a large regional bank in the South.

Butch & Decima Morrison

Butch and Decima Morrison were married in 2006. Their blended family consist of a total of 25 members. Butch is retired having served faithfully as a bi-vocational pastor for 40 years. Decima is also retired after 40 years professional career. Their passion is sharing “The REST of Gospel”.

Bud & Pat Strope

Bud and Pat Strope have 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Bud retired as a combustion engineer, is a US Marine Vietnam Veteran, and is currently Pastor of Veterans Ministry at The Journey Church, and author of, W is for Warrior and the Chaplain at Camp Centurion, a transitional housing facility for veterans.

Mike and Paula Moore

Mike Moore and wife Paula Have been with Journey off and on from the start. Mike now works for the church as maintenance and audio and video. Mike and Paula believe in serving the Church and community with a Loving heart. They have been married 24 years and have three children and numerous grand children. They do the Wednesday meals at the Church,and are involved in many other things.
