Make Everyday Count

Have you ever noticed how some people come into our life and we know right away that they were meant to be there—to serve some sort of purpose, teach us a lesson, or help us figure out who we are or who we want to become?

We never know who these people may be—a roommate, neighbor, coworker, long-lost friend, lover, or even a complete stranger—but when we lock eyes with them, we know in that very moment they will affect our life in some profound way.

Sometimes things happen to us that seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first. But upon reflection, we find that without overcoming those obstacles, we would have never realized our potential, strength, willpower, or heart. What you call a heartbreak today, you may call a lesson tomorrow, and a few years from now, you may even call it a gift.

So, start every day with new hope. Leave bad memories behind and have faith for a better tomorrow. God’s timing is perfect. Be at peace—God is working all things together for our good.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness, and even sheer stupidity—all of it happens to test our limits. Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.

The people who cross our path and the experiences of success and downfall shape who we become. We learn even from the bad experiences—perhaps most from them. If someone hurts us, betrays us, or breaks our heart, we forgive them. They help us learn about trust and the importance of being cautious when opening our hearts.

When someone loves us, we love them back unconditionally—not just because they love us, but because, in a way, they are teaching us how to love and how to open our hearts and eyes to the beauty in life.

It’s amazing how much people can change when we stop trying to change them and simply choose to love them.

Always help someone—you may be the only one who does. The most important gifts you can give are your love, your time, and your attention. Slow down. Take time to smile. Enjoy your loved ones—life goes by way too fast!

Stay away from drama and negativity.

Let’s make every day count. Let’s appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything we possibly can, for we may never experience them again. Let’s talk to people we’ve never talked to before and really listen.

Let’s fall in love, break free, and set our sights high. Let’s hold our heads up—because we have every right to. Let’s tell ourselves we are great and believe in ourselves. Because if we don’t, it will be hard for others to believe in us.

We can make our life whatever we wish. So let’s create a life we love—and go out and live it, with absolutely no regrets.
